93% of the teachers agreed the program culturally enriched their students.

  • "... The children loved the book, the music, and the presentation at the Strand, not only did they learn a lot about accepting others, they now talk about classical music and blues as if they are experts."

  • "Great book, great songs, great message. Through the use of this book and CD, I was able to go deeper by extending lessons directed towards the importance of being open minded and embracing diversity..."

73% of the teachers observed the program increased their students' desire to read more books.

  • The emotional experience of seeing a book come to life on stage increases intrinsic motivation to read.

  • "The students were able to experience the many benefits of seeing a live performance. For many of my students, this was the first time that they have been to a play. They returned to school with an increased desire to listen to and play music, a high-level of energy towards reading with expression, and a greater understanding of diversity. Thank you!"

FROGTOWN'S "Multi-Sensory Learning" integrates reading, writing, art, music, science, and technology (STEAM). Students make emotional connections, increase literacy and develop empathy for others.

Live Performance

Live Stage Show for the Community
The program culminates in a Live Stage Show by FROGTOWN's national touring cast in a real theater, performing selections from "One Night in Frogtown" and "Bedtime for Tadpoles".

Students are excited to see the stories come alive, and can sing along to the on-screen Animated Lyrics in this high-energy, world-class production performed by talented stars and narrated by the author himself.
