Portland, OR -In Philip Pelletier's FROGTOWN musical storybooks, classical, jazz, R&B, and hip-hop musicians come together to present heartwarming, amphibious allegories-drumming, singing, rapping, and be-bopping the values of empathy, self-empowerment, and environmental awareness. Featured on THE GRAMMYS "Education Watch", the soulful narration by blues legend Curtis Salgado ("The Blues Brothers") and a cast of A-List performers bring FROGTOWN's pond of musical frogs to vibrant life.
FROGTOWN'S positive message has taken off largely thanks to an innovative BOOK DONATION PROGRAM, which donates specially created classroom sets of Books, Music & Lesson Plans to schools with a majority of underprivileged and at-risk students.

FROGTOWN creator Philip Pelletier has won numerous awards, including Best Director at the LA International Film Festival, Grand Prize at The NY Shorts Fest, and a Media Masters Award. His films have been official selections in over 75 film festivals worldwide, and his work has been honored at the Lucille Ball Comedy Museum and the LA Museum of Contemporary Art. Philip has composed, conducted and produced music for Emmy Award-winning children's TV shows, Disney & Pixar animations, and many award-winning films.
He has composed scores for film and television projects with notable studios such as Amblin' Entertainment, CBS, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Universal, and Warner Brothers. As a composer, Mr. Pelletier has collaborated with numerous top-tier session professionals, overseeing recording sessions that featured members of the LA Philharmonic, the Willie Nelson Band, Christina Aguilera, Mick Jagger, David Bowie and many others.
